Budapest

Svima sam rekla isto.

PODZEMNA! Zašto mi to nemamo u Zagrebu?

Vidite ovaj izraz uzbuđenja na mom licu?

Znači, s podzemnom smo otišle na Božićni sajam. Oduševio me svojom jednostavnošću, a opet tim nekim ugođajem.

Fotografkinja me je planirala ubiti, popela me na most, i rekla “sad šetaj.”

Otišli do parlamenta, fotkali sve i svašta.

Ni to nemamo u Zagrebu. So torn.

Dobile smo tortilje punjene povrćem i…

Taj me ručak odveo na 28. planetu.  Prekrasno.

Ocjena: 5+!

LJUDI I ODLAZAK

Još nešto što me jako iznenadilo.

Do you need some help?”.

Zar stvarno?

Budapest

First of all, I would like to say a big THANK YOU to all of you who read my last review, I’ve gotten a lot of responses from you guys. Some of them were nice, some were not, my favorite being
„You’re such a scum, you get a free hotel and then complain about it, you are no Ella Dvornik to get all the luxury. First learn how to write“

Well, thank  you, I’m glad you’re visiting my blog. And now… I was honest in my review and I’m sorry if it hurt someones feelings, but there will always be people like that.

I’ve even gotten questions about starting a blog, how much I payed for it, how courageous of me and I’ve told everyone the same thing – it is expensive.

In the end, it’s all worth it, there is something about just taking a train/bus/plane and going where you’ve never been.

It’s beautiful. Budapest left me speechless.

I finally got a chance to ride the subway. It was always a big wish of mine (how pathetic of me) and it was great. Except the really loud noises, but finally… SUBWAY! Why don’t we have that in Zagreb?

See the excitement on my face?

We took the subway to the Christmas fair. It amazed me with its simplicity and atmosphere. It was cold, but I was warm on the inside from all the happiness and euphoria.

Zagreb is more beautiful, but Budapest has a very special feel, I can’t really put my finger on it.

Danube river is near, the guide took us there, the view amazed me, I was speechless.

Everything looks so perfect and festive at Christmas time.

The bridges and buildings were decorated with shiny lights. I couldn’t stop smiling the entire night.

The photographer wanted to kill me, she told me to climb onto a bridge and walk on it! I was screaming, thought it was the end for me (even though life didn’t flash before my eyes). In the end, I managed to survive and have the photos to prove it. So happy with the photos she took of me, I have the best photographer ever, the scenery was beautiful and I didn’t brake anything.

We took a walk over the bridge, admired the boats and the city. We visited the parliament and took a lot of photos. I can’t describe how happy I was.

CAT CAFE BUDAPEST

Morning after we went to this elegant cafe in which cats prevail. Cats! One more thing we don’t have in Zagreb.

As soon as we got there, we got the list of rules.

It’s forbidden to feed the cats.

It’s forbidden to pick them up.

They have to feel comfortable in their home. Soothing music is playing in the background and cats are free to walk all over the bar. They often jump on the table or to someones lap, which is great, cause it’s forbidden to pick them up.

A+!

I love my job!

It was my first time at a vegan restaurant and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered tortillas filled with vegetables and… Take a look at the pictures for yourself, I don’t know what was in it, all I know is that I was so full up I hardly had room for anything else.

Baklava was for desert, truth be told, I was never a big fan, too sweet, too much walnut and too greasy.

On the other hand, this was the best desert in my life. Just the right amount of sweetness and filled with pistachios! Not greasy what so ever. Oh, love at first bite!

We also had a cup of true Turkish tea. I’m not going to be miss-know-it-all and say what is it made of, but it was very delicious. After the lunch I felt like I’m on cloud nine, it was so delicious.

The restaurant is in the urban part of the city, but it was quiet without much noise, a very interesting experience.

Bought a bottle of water named Sirma, which is funny because my photographers name is Irma.

A+!

Citizens and the departure

One thing that surprised me.

Everyone was so nice. We were standing in the street, turning and looking around and the first man that saw us asked us if we needed some help.

We got out of the tramway and there was a woman who offered to take us to the railway station so we don’t miss our train.

Oh, yeah. At the departure we took more photos.

Irma told me I looked like a beautiful Russian. Is it true?

You can find Irma on Instagram  (Insta @irma.jpg) and Facebook (Irma.jpg).

  1. Bok.Jako mi se svidja tvoja reportaza o Budimpesti.Krasan clanak i predivne fotke.
